As a Tax Senior, you’ll be immersed in the evolving tax environment by preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing staff on your engagement teams. The opportunity You’ll be part of a growing global team, acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues. Your key responsibilities Support client engagements by reviewing staff work product, coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics. Identify and resolve tax technical issues and share insights to improve processes and overall efficiency. Prioritize and handle a wide range of continually evolving responsibilities. Skills and attributes for success Providing domestic federal tax advice and guidance tailored to clients’ needs Keeping up to date with changes to legislation affecting planning activities Supervising high-performing teams and sharing leading-practice knowledge Building relationships at all levels internally and externally to promote collaboration Preparing practical recommendations for complex tax issues To qualify for the role you must have A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately three years of related work experience Progress toward or completion of a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status Background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax with a broad understanding of US income taxation Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools Ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects and confidently engage with client teams Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally, you’ll also have A proven record in a professional services environment Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt work style to collaborate with internal and client teams What we look for We’re looking for people who are ready to join a highly engaged, diverse, and dynamic team to help us continue to make a real difference for our clients. What we offer you Comprehensive compensation and benefits, with base salary ranges of $71,000 to $117,100 (US locations). NYC Metro Area, Washington State, and California ranges are $85,100 to $133,100. Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography; Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off. Team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model; most client-serving roles require in-person work 40-60% of the time over an engagement, project, or year.
