Job Summary The Director will primarily work from home but is required to maintain an office and presence in our Northeast Region offices in the DC/Maryland metro area. Residence within a commutable distance is required. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of 100-125 prospects/donors, including foundations, corporations, alumni, and friends. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts of $100,000 and above. Conduct 12-15 personal visits per month, including online meetings and regional travel. Develop proposals aligned with fundraising priorities and donor interests. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop engagement opportunities. Maintain detailed records of all interactions and strategies in the donor management system. Report on donor activity and strategy to leadership regularly. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in major gift fundraising and relationship management. Proven success in cultivating, closing, and stewarding six-figure gifts. Excellent communication, proposal development, and relationship-building skills.
