The Opportunity
As part of our Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG), you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative solutions for our client-serving Tax professionals. ATTG partners with Tax professionals to develop technology that supports digital/mobile tools, dashboards, visualization, analytics, and reports.
Your Role
Product Owner & Operations Service Delivery Manager for Partnership Tax technology. You will drive the development and delivery of innovative partnership tax technology solutions while ensuring operational excellence in service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partnership taxation, product management, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions to streamline partnership tax compliance and reporting for large operating partnerships, with emphasis on automating complex partnership allocations.
Own the success of partnership tax technology by ensuring users are supported, engaged, and equipped to apply the technology; gather feedback to improve functionality, user experience, and adoption across teams.
Serve as tax technical and technology subject matter expert, guiding the use of partnership tax technology and developing expertise in complex partnership transactions.
Work on operating partnerships across industries (e.g., private equity, real estate, oil & gas, consumer products, healthcare, etc.).
Support partnership entities throughout their life cycle—acquisition, formation, operation, restructuring, and disposition—applying tax technical expertise and technology tools for accurate compliance, reporting, and planning.
Independently research the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations to validate system-generated results in partnership transactions.
Gather end-user feedback, identify usability challenges, and implement improvements to functionality, accuracy, and user experience.
Lead training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure users leverage partnership tax technology accurately for their fact patterns and transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Approved technical certification, CPA license, or membership to state Bar or progress toward attainment.
At least five years of federal partnership tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Strong knowledge of partnership tax and ability to learn tax law and technology implications.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work with clients and leadership, and to influence teams.
What We Look For

Familiarity with EY support, training, and operating models and processes.
