Quezada Architecture (QA), a multi-disciplinary, woman-owned boutique design firm with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, is seeking qualified candidates to join our diverse and talented team. We are passionate about creating thoughtful, beautiful, and healthy environments for our clients with projects across the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Our work spans sectors including commercial, hospitality, high-end residential, aviation, and health/wellness.
Ideal Candidate: Creative, collaborative, self-motivated, very well-organized, positive, flexible, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have experience, a passion for modern design, excellent management and interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor.
Job Summary Seeking a motivated, detail-oriented leader to guide teams through all project phases, from concept design to construction administration.
Education
Bachelor Degree in Architecture required; MArch a bonus
Additional Project Management training a plus
Experience
10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in project management
Experience with core and shell architecture and interiors is a bonus but not mandatory
Qualifications, Skills, and Software
Experience drafting proposals, fee, and work plans
Proactive problem-solving approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Management of client budgets, schedules, and programs
Proficiency in Bluebeam Studio, MS Office (Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of Revit and CAD
Basic knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
Deltek Ajera (preferred but not required)
Strong people skills
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects and coordinate sub-consultants
Oversee deliverables for all phases
Maintain client relationships and demonstrate leadership
Assign tasks, coach, mentor team members
Coordinate with BIM Manager, schedule deliverables
Attend meetings, create/update task lists, review timesheets and expenses
Maintain project schedules and documentation
Work with marketing on project descriptions and database updates
Track project fees and expenses, ensure budget compliance
Prepare service agreements, task orders, and review invoices
Lead team meetings, establish relationships with stakeholders
Conduct performance reviews, motivate teams, manage remote staff
