The Sales Professional in the Sustainability Area manages and expands Siemens' business in the region within the Higher Education, K12 schools, and local government markets. Knowledge of energy services and construction is helpful, but success will rely heavily on strategic selling skills within these markets. You will identify market needs, develop sales strategies, and craft solutions to help clients improve facilities, operations, and profitability. The role involves working across multiple Siemens divisions and local offices to position Siemens as a preferred solutions provider for building retrofit projects, performance contracting, and energy-related improvements. Key responsibilities include maintaining executive relationships, qualifying sales leads, developing and implementing sales plans, managing complex deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycles. You will also work with marketing on outreach programs, participate in professional organizations, and stay current on market trends. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields, with 5+ years of consultative selling experience. Strong communication, organizational, negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. A valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. are required. Preferred qualifications include relationships with local clients in California and surrounding areas, strategic selling capabilities, energy industry expertise, a Master’s degree, and proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
