Job Title: Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Project Manager I : Bio Compatibility Project Manager
Biocompatibility PM is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, biocompatibility, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management, and experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, engaging with cross-functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during product development, clear communication with peers and SMEs, and helping build processes and specifications.
Biocompatibility Program Manager will need the following skillsets:
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive the selection of biocompatible materials, coordinate samples, and testing throughout product development.
Communicate biocompatibility goals and findings effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership, including presentations and documentation.
Demonstrated experience in program management and a basic knowledge of biocompatibility review processes.
Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessments, establishing processes to communicate findings efficiently.
Prioritize programs and issues to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams to build workflows, processes, and SOPs.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
2+ years of project management experience in a corporate setting.
Experience managing multiple complex projects and prioritizing effectively.
Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Strong team player with analytical skills and creative thinking.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working in the consumer electronics industry.
Comments for Suppliers: Not required to sit on-site.
Interview process: One interview with CWAM and a second round with managers.
Must have consumer electronics experience and familiarity with biocompatibility and customer safety. Nice to have: understanding of program development checkpoints. Must have a science or engineering background (Chemistry, Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering).
Duration: 9-month assignment with potential extension.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
