Overview GPJ is hiring a Broadcast Executive Producer to join our growing team. This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to one of the following office locations a minimum of 2 days / week: New York City or San Francisco.
Your Role As the Executive Producer of Broadcast, you play a pivotal role within our Live Production team, taking the lead in managing and overseeing all aspects of Broadcast, including General sessions, Studio Spaces, Studio Records, Product Launches, Dealer Meetings, Press Events, Special Events, and Consumer Events. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with clients, partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless and successful execution of each project.
Your Skills 10+ years of experience as a Broadcast Producer or Executive Producer, with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality broadcast content.
Extensive experience in live event production and broadcast integration.
Strong understanding of experiential marketing principles and best practices.
Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledgeable theatrical and technical staging (lighting, audio, video and scenic).
Knowledgeable in the use of social media and technology integration in live events.
Knowledgeable in rich media – producing videos, presentation graphics, digital media and printed graphics.
Experience with venue contracting, routing and permitting.
Solid reputation as a Production Executive with past clients, employers, suppliers and staff / crews.
Powerful resource database of world-class creative, production and technical partners.
Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, and research via the web.
Highly proficient in cutting edge live and digital event presentation technologies.
Your Competencies Deliver – Produce with excellence, in all your areas you touch directly or indirectly, for the client, the project you are assigned, and the GPJ team.
Confidence – Know that you will succeed, when at times what is being suggested may not have been produced before. Have confidence that you have the team, data, tools and skills necessary to overcome obstacles. Working in close concert with strategy, creative, other production teams, and client teams to communicate all stages of the production process and get everyone to the end goal.
Communication -Technical or Production Team leader adept at identification, hiring and mentoring of skills and resources required to build teams that deliver robust solutions within a controlled project management environment. Strong communication skills with each member of the team (GPJ, Client and Partners) in sharing information, advising but being decisive as required to ensure success. Strong advocate for a safe environment for attendees and staff ensuring each project has all required certifications and documentation.
Curiosity -Desire to discover, explore, learn and expand knowledge of digital, technical, theatrical and media elements to bring brands to life in the most effective way. Live production is one of the most powerful forms of communication in experience marketing and your role is to partner with the strategy, creative and account teams in bringing the best ideas forward and put the strategy into action.
Experience & Education College degree preferred but not mandatory. Study areas would include theater, film / video, business, project management, or other transferable experience. 9+ years of relevant production experience will be combined with your track record of success.
Travel & Mobility Ability to travel 30-40%
Ability to work irregular hours in addition to normal business hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Salary Salary Range : $140k – $170k
Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, and location.
