Overview Carriage Healthcare Companies (CHC) is Hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and seeking a dynamic, experienced finance leader to join our senior leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations and strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing sound fiscal policies, and aligning financial goals with the organization’s mission to serve post-acute and senior care facilities across multiple states.

This position may be performed remotely from Wisconsin, with some travel to Colorado required.

BA/BS in accounting (MBA or CPA preferred)
At least 10 years of finance and/or accounting experience, including audit/internal audit roles and progressive responsibilities
Not-for-profit accounting background
Leadership of finance departments managing budgets of $50M+ in complex environments
Experience in various accounting settings
Familiarity with Form 990, Medicaid, and Medicare cost reports
Preferred Experience Bond accounting and covenant management
Prior CFO experience and senior management leadership
Key Responsibilities Financial & Operational Management: Maintain GAAP-compliant systems with strong internal controls
Oversee revenue cycle management
Ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including EMMA, Board, and auditors
Interface with external auditors for Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and Form 990
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management on operational strategies
Lead long-term budgeting and cost management initiatives
Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans
Engage with senior management to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration
