As the company accelerates growth through new customer acquisition, platform expansion, and potential acquisitions, the CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic finance leadership, operational excellence, and private equity experience in a high-growth technology environment. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to build scalable infrastructure and drive value creation in a fast-paced, digital-first, and data-driven organization . Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Partner with the CEO, Board, and PE sponsors to define and execute the long-term strategic vision of the business. Lead the development of financial plans aligned with company goals around ARR growth, customer retention, and margin expansion. Drive alignment across product, sales, customer success, and operations through data-driven financial strategy. Lead the FP&A function, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, board reporting, and strategic planning. Build robust SaaS metrics dashboards (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, net dollar retention) and provide insight into customer and product profitability. Deliver scenario planning to support pricing strategy, capital investment decisions, and M&A. Accounting & Reporting Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and audit readiness. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and investor reporting standards. Optimize internal controls, policies, and systems in a rapidly growing and evolving environment. Capital Management Manage cash flow forecasting, capital structure, and financing strategies in partnership with PE stakeholders. Support future fundraising, lender negotiations, and debt covenant compliance. Ensure efficient allocation of capital to drive growth while maintaining financial discipline. M&A and Integration Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning for strategic acquisitions. Build scalable systems and processes to support ongoing growth and acquisition activity. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless operational and financial integration. Team Development Build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team with strong analytical, operational, and technical capabilities. Instill a culture of performance, transparency, and continuous improvement. Serve as a mentor and trusted advisor to emerging leaders across the organization. Ideal Candidate Profile 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including prior experience as CFO or VP of Finance in a SaaS or technology-enabled company . Proven track record operating in a private equity-backed environment with deep exposure to investor reporting, value creation, and capital planning. Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models , financial KPIs, and subscription business dynamics. Experience with ASC 606 , complex revenue recognition, and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Insights). Demonstrated success leading M&A and integration, scaling operations, and managing a high-growth business. Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with a strong balance of strategic and operational skill sets. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
