What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting precise, actionable specifications for AI-driven HR systems.
• Developing and managing workflows using innovative low-code and AI platforms such as Retool and Bolt.
• Executing onboarding and coaching workflows manually when automation isn’t feasible.
• Designing dashboards for real-time performance insights and coaching opportunities.
• Ensuring seamless onboarding, coaching, and transition for talent cohorts.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Managing a conventional HR team or depending on business partners.
• Using outdated systems or processes from legacy organizations.
• Participating in alignment meetings or committee reviews.
• Waiting for technical teams to create necessary tools.
• Relying solely on documentation instead of dynamic system feedback.

Chief HR Systems Officer Key Responsibilities

Drive the creation of a fully automated HR function that enables global talent operations without traditional managerial oversight or manual processes.

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated success in designing and executing operational systems using AI and low/no-code tools (e.g., Cursor, Retool, Zapier).
• Experience in building and personally delivering effective automations and prototypes.
• Expertise in data analytics, transforming complex data into automated decision-making processes.
• Ability to make critical talent decisions autonomously, including improvement plans and terminations.
• Experience in high-pressure, autonomous environments such as startups or rapidly scaling companies.
• U.S.-based with preference for Austin, or ability to travel one week per month.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in business operations, engineering, data analytics, or product management.
• Previous work in developing AI-native systems in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of emerging AI platforms and "vibe-coding" culture.
