Our Founders' Office team is committed to maintaining Karat as the gold standard in technical talent measurement, transforming how organizations evaluate, benchmark, and elevate the quality of their technical teams. This strategic nucleus, comprising both our Co-Founder & CEO and Co-Founder & President alongside their dedicated support staff, provides comprehensive strategic vision. The Office of the President specifically oversees Product and Engineering functions, drives step-change deals with key customers, and spearheads our Brilliant Black Minds program.
What you will do
As Chief of Staff (Office of the President) at Karat, you will serve as a strategic partner for the company’s Co-Founder & President, helping to drive the initiatives listed above. You will have a deep influence on the company's success through involvement in organizational strategy and operations, product launches, and key clients and partnerships.
Manage operational excellence in support of the objectives of this office.
Help set strategic goals and objectives, including critical sales and ship targets, ruthlessly prioritizing to ensure key objectives are met.
Manage meeting cadence and agenda to ensure information flows effectively across the company.
Attend meetings with or on behalf of the President, and manage follow-up actions and next steps.
Work closely with the President's direct reports to help move projects forward and ensure teams are well-prepared for meetings.
Serve as a strategic thought-partner and operational executor for Karat’s President on a wide range of projects that cut across the business, including supporting client relationships and deals throughout the Go To Market Lifecycle.
Support with communications, public appearances, client engagement, and other external commitments.
Manage special projects that cut across various business teams' work as needed.
The experience you will bring Demonstrated ability delivering results in a high-growth, quick-change environment
Experience translating strategy into operational plans and driving outcomes against those plans
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence and inspire all levels, and demonstrated ability to draw out the best in others
Expert verbal and written communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation Varies by Geographic Location
At Karat, salary ranges for each U.S.-based position are determined by the employee's work location. We structure our compensation into geographic tiers based on market data and regional economic factors.

Base Salary (GeoLo 2)
$157,500-$189,000USD
Base Salary (GeoLo 3)
$140,000-$168,000USD
