About The Opportunity This role involves delivering solutions that bridge Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), focusing on cloud, edge, and enterprise integrations. You will enable Wind River to implement integrated solutions using cloud platforms in industrial and enterprise environments, supporting products like eLxr Pro Linux, Studio Operator, and others. You will work on projects involving platforms like ServiceNow and Wind River’s Cloud Platform, addressing complex challenges of deploying distributed clouds and managing secure, high-availability platforms. You should have experience in software, systems, or infrastructure engineering, with familiarity in cloud platforms and distributed systems. Exposure to OT systems is a plus. You must understand customer problems and develop solutions using our products. Some travel will be required. Interface & Collaboration Report to the Senior Director of Sales and Field Applications Engineers. You will be a key technical resource, collaborating with sales teams, engineering, product management, and professional services to serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners. Responsibilities Support the technical implementation of OT and IT solutions using Wind River tools and platforms. Contribute to architectural planning, deployment, and solution integration for customer projects. Develop Proofs of Concept, demonstrations, and technical presentations showcasing OT/IT integration. Assist in projects involving platforms like ServiceNow and Wind River’s Cloud Platform. Participate in requirements analysis and technical solutioning. Provide feedback to Wind River and help remove technical barriers. Support market expansion efforts globally. About You Core competencies include hands-on support for PoCs, familiarity with open-source projects like StarlingX and Kubernetes, knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, and experience with platforms like ServiceNow and OT environments. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work independently at partner and customer sites is essential. Qualifications 7-10 years in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or OT/IT fields. Strong understanding of OT systems, enterprise IT, and cloud integration. Experience with system design, networking, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and cloud-native technologies. Linux deployment, image building, and programming skills (C++, C, Python, Perl). English language proficiency for business discussions. Willingness to travel up to 25% on short notice.
