What Youll Do Lead the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner while understanding downstream and upstream impacts to avoid delays, with the goal of a 5-business day close cycle. Collaborate with the AP team, FP&A and various departments to gather required information to perform a timely and accurate monthly accrual process. Assist with daily cash/bank matches when an accountant has questions. Administer and maintain the close checklists, account reconciliations, and variance analysis within FloQast. Manage the close checklists and account reconciliations during the close cycle to ensure timely completion and signoffs and provide daily close reporting dashboards to management with close status along with any other pertinent updates. Perform review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Ensure all intercompany transactions are properly recorded, eliminated, and reconciled. Track and maintain out-of-period adjustments and the SAB 99 assessment on a quarterly basis. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end variance analysis, ensuring that all required periods are compared and that detailed explanations for the fluxes that meet internal thresholds are provided by agreed upon deadlines including following up as necessary for any late items. Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure strong communication across the accounting team and other departments. Develop and implement best practices to optimize the accrual and close processes. Assist with management of the Companys chart of accounts, financial reporting structure, and key financial reports within the ERP. Assist, as needed, with various special projects. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (or working towards) preferred 7+ years of relevant accounting experience from a public company; with at least 2 years of experience from a Big 4 public accounting firm Has led or has in-depth knowledge of the month-end close process at a mid-to-large sized public company setting Has managed direct reports, providing guidance, career development, coaching and support Thoroughly understands the requirements of well-documented SOX-compliant work papers Strong system and operational accounting experience Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills NetSuite and FloQast (or other similar) experience is preferred Why CoreWeave We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams - even if you arent a 100% skill or experience match. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
