Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Counsel to join our Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will provide legal expertise in employment law and litigation, supporting our clients in navigating complex legal challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of various litigation matters, with a focus on employment-related issues in the private sector.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation in employment law and litigation matters. Manage and oversee litigation cases from inception to resolution, including strategy development. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, and motions. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal counsel. Assist in managing e-discovery processes and procedures during litigation. Stay current on developments in employment law and litigation to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California Bar Association. Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law and litigation. Strong knowledge of traditional labor law and employment litigation processes. Experience in e-discovery and managing complex litigation cases. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote work environment.
