About the role

Recruiting on behalf of our client (established customs brokerage/freight forwarder). We’re hiring two hands-on specialists to support import compliance and day-to-day brokerage operations. LCB but not required. This is an individual contributor role (not management).

What you’ll do

Perform HTS/HTSUS classification and research; document guidance (ADD/CVD; Sections 301/232 )

Advise on PGA/OGA matters: TSCA , Lacey Act , FDA , USDA , FWS , and Steel/Aluminum Licensing

Write and assist entries ; ensure ISF, eManifest, AMS compliance

Stay current on import regulations and respond promptly to issues

Partner with the brokerage team to troubleshoot and resolve problems

Perform other related duties as assigned

What you bring

5+ years brokerage/classification experience

LCB , or strong hands-on background in entries & classification

Proficiency with ACE/ABI ; familiarity with ISF/eManifest/AMS

Detail-oriented, reliable, ethical; excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

Protests, PSC, Prior Disclosures ; C-TPAT/TSA exposure

Commodity breadth: textiles, steel, aluminum, office products, chemicals, food, watches

FTZ and warehouse entries (in/out); Microsoft Word/Excel ; exposure to CF7512
