EPAM is seeking a senior media leader to join our Next Generation Marketing team within Empathy Lab—an agile, start-up-style division embedded within a global organization. As digital media evolves at an unprecedented pace, this team helps clients navigate new challenges through innovative, strategic, and tech-enabled marketing solutions. You’ll play a critical role in building trust and engagement with clients by leading a strategic in-housing initiative focused on digitizing the end-to-end media planning and buying process. You'll advise on media activation, integrated planning, AI in marketing, martech ecosystems, and data strategy—serving as a key expert within clients’ marketing environments. Lead delivery of a tech-enabled, in-housing media solution across planning and buying
Manage cross-functional delivery teams to ensure high-quality, timely execution
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through internal and external networks
Translate client challenges into actionable technology and media strategies
Collaborate across digital strategy, martech, and data science teams to drive outcomes
Identify opportunities to apply EPAM’s software and data capabilities to client needs
Leverage EPAM’s strength in custom software development, data science and product development to provide clients with bespoke technology and data solutions that provide differentiated value over standard market solutions (You do not need to be a technical expert, but it is crucial that you can spot opportunities for other teams to support clients’ requirements)
Collaborate with the Empathy Lab leadership team to continuously identify improvements and/or enhancements in processes and tools to streamline and industrialize execution activities, supporting quality and on-time delivery
Recruit, inspire, coach, develop and guide a highly motivated team of digital media managers and consultants
Requirements 20+ years of experience in cross-channel media planning and buying (ATL + Digital)
Strong understanding of media and ad-tech ecosystems from both strategic and technical angles
Ability to lead consultative conversations across media planning, buying, and activations
Skilled in communicating complex ideas clearly and confidently to diverse stakeholders
Proven success building trusted client relationships and managing senior stakeholders
Working knowledge of media performance methodologies (GRP, MMM, MTA)
Experience leading integrated marketing and media transformation initiatives
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a global organization
Strong team leadership, coaching, and mentorship capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have Deep expertise with digital marketing platforms (e.g., GMP, Amazon, Salesforce, Adobe, Braze)
Familiarity with media operations tools (e.g., Boostr, MediaOcean, Prisma, Salesforce)
Experience buying media through intermediary platforms (especially digital)
Working knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) and data infrastructure
Understanding of AI applications in marketing and decisioning systems
Experience with media and monetization workflows, especially in Media & Entertainment
Ability to identify and shape martech ecosystems tailored to client needs
Track record of managing and scaling distributed or remote teams
Comfort working in entrepreneurial or start-up-style environments
Experience contributing to the launch or growth of a new business unit

Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $175,000 - $210,000.
