Works with engineering leads to set policies and processes that span Engineering.

Works across the organization to resolve technical blockers, help in minimizing friction and maximizing productivity.

Your profile: Experience with architectural patterns and anti-patterns of large, high-scale consumer applications.

Demonstrated experience taking bias toward taking action, using the best available data to justify your actions and opinions, and making decisions that move the business forward.

Can effectively hire, mentor, and develop career plans for engineers of all levels.

Leads by example, holding to the same standards set for the team.

Strong communicator: shares knowledge upward, downward, and across the organization.

Has a proven understanding of business metrics and is able to suggest and scope product feature work to maximize the business impact.

Ability to solve complex problems and help others meet their goals.

Can effectively explain complex technical concepts to Product, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and engineers.

Can lead and function effectively in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity.

Education and Experience: 5+ years of management experience

15+ years of engineering experience

The SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $240,000-$300,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in San Francisco, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
