Director Human Resources Information Technology Location: New York City Metropolitan Area Company Overview: A prestigious global trading and investment firm based in midtown NYC is seeking an HRIS Director to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS systems supporting the CPO Office functions. This is a hybrid role. Role Summary: The HRIS Director will oversee HRIS strategy and operations, ensuring systems support HR and business objectives. They will lead the global HR system standardization project. Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic planning and management of the HRIS function. Define system requirements aligned with organizational needs. Provide leadership and guidance to the HRIS team, including system administrators. Oversee configuration, integration, and performance of HRIS systems. Ensure HRIS is maintained and updated according to organizational changes, upgrades, and improvements. Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technological solutions to improve HR processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in HR, IT, Business Administration; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in HRIS management or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership/director capacity. Extensive experience in enterprise-wide project management, system implementations, integrations, data management, and reporting. Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and third-party providers. Exceptional project management, leadership, consulting, and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors. Familiarity with HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
