Overview Title: Director, Information Technology Department: Operations – Information Technology Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer Status: Exempt, Full-Time Location: Remote Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Travel: 0-1x/per Year Pay Range: $180,000 - $205,000 EEO: First/Mid-Level Officials & Managers The Director, Information Technology is responsible for managing all areas of the organization’s information technology (IT) including the development, implementation, management, and security of IT systems and data housed therein in alignment with organizational goals. The Director, Information Technology, ensures the functionality and compliance of the IFM website, is the primary point of contact for the organization’s AI efforts and will serve as IFM’s Data Protection Officer (DPO). The Director, Information Technology, will work closely with leaders across the organization to resolve high level problems that may impact the organization while providing efficient and effective technical solutions to users, both internal and external.
Primary Responsibilities
In partnership with senior management, provide strategic thought leadership, recommend and lead IT projects to create and implement forward looking technology roadmaps for the organization; utilize project management principles to deliver on expectations.
Ensure full compliance and functionality of the website in alignment with all laws, regulations, and best practices.
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s data security management protocols.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to draft and maintain organization policies and procedures related to AI, including AI-powered automation and generative AI solutions.
Responsible for managing and mentoring employees, providing personalized guidance, support, feedback and training on responsibilities early and often.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other related field, or equivalent work experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years’ progressive experience managing IT infrastructure, security and network, along with team(s).
Experience leading and managing teams, onsite and/or virtual.
Experience with virtual educational delivery modalities and social media platforms.
Experience with the operational application of privacy law.
Experience working in Professional Associations preferred.
PMP preferred.
