As the Director, MarTech Capabilities – Content & Asset Management, you’ll lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of Humana’s content ecosystem—ensuring the right assets reach the right audiences at the right time. You’ll drive innovation in how we manage, deliver, and measure content across channels, helping members feel informed, supported, and empowered. This role blends technology, process, and storytelling—transforming how Humana connects with members through meaningful, compliant, and efficient content experiences. As a strategic leader in Humana’s Marketing Technology and Operations organization, you will oversee the platforms, processes, and partnerships that power enterprise content delivery.
Capability Leadership & Team Management
Lead a team of product managers focused on content management, digital asset management (DAM), creative production, and content hosting capabilities
Champion the dual-hat model—ensuring team members act as both product managers and embedded practitioners within agile pods
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
Drive performance and development across the team, aligning capability growth with enterprise goals
Content Strategy, Roadmap Ownership & Platform Enablement
Own the vision, roadmap, and governance for content and asset management capabilities—ensuring alignment with Marketing’s goals and personalization strategy
Lead the evolution of the content platform ecosystem to support modular, reusable, and omnichannel content delivery
Guide platform architecture decisions and capability development in partnership with IT, Technical Platform Product, and enterprise architecture teams
Drive ongoing platform improvements, including feature enhancements, performance optimization, and user enablement
Lead the migration and sunset of legacy content systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations
Embedded Support, AI Enablement & Best Practices
Manage a team that acts as hands-on experts within marketing pods—providing real-time guidance on content structures, asset workflows, and platform capabilities
Establish and promote best practices for metadata, tagging, version control, and rights management to enable findability, compliance, and reuse
Define content templates and asset workflows in partnership with brand, creative, and operations teams to support personalization and scale
Enable content interoperability across platforms, ensuring assets flow seamlessly into journey orchestration, channel activation, and testing environments
Explore and enable AI/ML-powered capabilities for automated tagging, content reuse, personalization, and performance optimization
Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, IT, experience transformation, creative, compliance, and external vendors to ensure cohesive delivery and platform optimization
Collaborate with procurement to evaluate new technologies, guide buy versus build decisions and ensure vendor performance and SLA adherence
Measurement, Governance & Innovation
Monitor platform performance and adoption, identifying optimization opportunities and influencing roadmap decisions based on evolving use cases
Ensure platform governance and compliance with enterprise data standards and regulatory requirements
Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to measure content utilization, efficiency, and impact on member engagement
Champion innovation and continuous improvement across tools, processes, and practices—staying ahead of content technology trends and enabling agile content delivery
Your leadership will ensure Humana’s content ecosystem is built for scale, speed, and relevance—supporting better health outcomes through better communication.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Communications, or related field, or relevant work experience
8+ years of experience in content operations, digital asset management, or marketing technology
Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise content platforms
Experience managing platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe GenStudio, AEM Assets (DAM), AEM Sites, Bit.ly, Figma, and Marketing Collateral Tracking System (MCTS)—or Salesforce equivalents such as Salesforce CMS, Experience Cloud, and DAM integrations
Experience collaborating with creative, engineering, and marketing stakeholders to enable scalable content delivery
Strong understanding of content governance, compliance, accessibility standards, and metadata frameworks
Familiarity with agile product development and scaled agile frameworks
Strong strategic thinking, technical acumen, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or certification in MarTech, content strategy, or digital experience
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, insurance, financial services)
Experience implementing modular content strategies or headless CMS architectures
Background in personalization, content tagging, and lifecycle management
Experience modernizing legacy systems and managing platform transitions
Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investments
Experience with AI/ML applications in content operations, such as automated tagging, personalization engines, or GenAI-assisted content creation and optimization

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$168,000 - $231,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
