Director of Educational Strategy, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $400,000/year USD 2 Hour Learning is seeking a Director of Educational Strategy to lead the development of academic frameworks and drive strategic alignment across schools. This is a full-time, remote position offering $200 USD/hour, equivalent to $400,000 USD/year, assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Responsibilities Creating academic frameworks to translate learning science into practical guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design. Leading academic execution reviews to ensure school teams are aligned and delivering results. Synthesizing data, interviews, and observation to identify barriers to accelerated learning and propose interventions. Driving strategic alignment through planning, feedback loops, and milestone tracking to maintain focus on student learning goals. Representing 2 Hour Learning at the highest levels to drive systemic change in education. Requirements Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field. 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes. Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning. Track record of public thought leadership. Strong performance management skills. Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions. Nice-to-have Requirements Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture. Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
