Base pay $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr What You Will Be Doing Developing academic frameworks that bridge learning science with practical applications in curriculum, motivation systems, and educational technology. Guiding academic performance reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams align with objectives and achieve measurable results. Analyzing data, conducting interviews, and performing observations to create academic ecosystem assessments that identify key barriers to accelerated learning and suggest actionable solutions. Ensuring strategic alignment through meticulous planning, ongoing feedback, and milestone tracking to keep the focus on student learning achievements. Representing 2 Hour Learning on prestigious platforms, from keynote speeches to discussions with Ministries of Education, to drive systemic educational change. What You Won’t Be Doing Engaging in minor curriculum projects that fail to drive broad systemic change. Producing abstract research without a direct impact on student outcomes or execution. Delegating accountability for performance to middle management or external consultants. Relying solely on brand reputation or theoretical arguments to convince skeptical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Enhance and expand 2 Hour Learning's acclaimed academic model by harmonizing execution across multiple schools, reinforcing leadership standards, and becoming the public advocate for an evidence-based movement with proven real-world success. Basic Requirements Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in relevant fields such as Learning Science, Educational Psychology, or Instructional Design Minimum of 7 years leading academic or EdTech teams with demonstrable exceptional learning results Experience in leveraging AI or technology to enhance learning Established presence in public thought leadership through media, keynotes, publications, or advisory roles Strong skills in performance management, with the ability to uphold high standards among elite peers Proficiency in data interpretation for diagnosing learning challenges and directing interventions Ability to engage directly with students, parents, and educational leaders with ease Nice-to-have Requirements Experience founding or leading an innovative school model, lab school, or successful EdTech initiative Familiarity with navigating cultural, political, or international educational environments In-depth knowledge of Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
