We’re scaling fast, expanding into new products and markets, and we’re looking for a sharp, systems-minded Director of Engineering to lead our growing technical team. About OBM, Inc. Description What You’ll Do You’ll head up engineering at a critical moment of growth—leading a talented team across backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with direct influence over our platform architecture, team culture, and technical roadmap. Lead and mentor a team of 11+ engineers (and growing) Own engineering execution across our platform—from data pipelines to customer-facing features Set technical direction and define scalable architecture for real-time, hardware-integrated systems Partner with Product and Design to scope features and ship fast Create and champion engineering standards (CI/CD, testing, documentation, deployment) Monitor performance and reliability KPIs (uptime, latency, system health) Hire, onboard, and develop top-tier technical talent Collaborate across teams to continuously improve processes, systems, and delivery What You Bring 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing teams Experience leading 10+ engineers in a SaaS or infrastructure-heavy environment Strong background in backend systems (Python, Node.js), frontend frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms Familiarity with telemetry, observability, or hardware/software integration Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, distributed, fast-paced environment Experience with industrial software, energy tech, or grid-interactive systems Familiarity with miner management platforms or high-performance compute Startup or scale-up experience (especially with multi-product environments) Systems integration and/or real-time control systems know-how What We Offer $175K+ annually plus bonus Full health, dental, and vision coverage Flexible paid time off + company holidays Hybrid/remote work flexibility A small, sharp team doing big, real-world work Equity and growth opportunities as we scale A Note on Inclusion We’re committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive culture.
