About the Role Tubi is seeking an experienced, analytical and strategically minded leader to join the FP&A team. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will be responsible for managing our Operating Expense inclusive of People Expenses, Software and Tech costs. The scope of the role includes long term planning, in-year forecasting, annual budgeting and providing reporting and governance across the critical budget pools. The individual will partner closely with Engineering and HR leaders to evaluate business requirements and provide modelling support to analyze impact of investments to the P/L. The individual needs to be a strategic leader guiding the C-Suite members in evaluating trade-offs amongst investment choices and to optimize capital allocation choices. The individual will also lead setting departmental budgets, partnering with Departmental leads and providing monthly pacing reports against budgeted goals. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who has exceptional communication skills, coupled with attention to detail and extensive experience in developing processes from the ground-up. This role will have a high level of visibility across the Company and will be integral to Tubi’s continued growth. This is a hybrid role that can be based out of the following cities: Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; or New York, NY. Your Responsibilities Procurement leader gathering business requirements from engineering team and driving negotiations with Vendors Partner with engineering teams to build driver based models to forecast software costs Management of the Total People Expense Budget, inclusive of Salary, Benefits, Bonus and Long Term Incentive Programs Ad hoc modeling and analysis to evaluate Bonus, Long Term Incentive Plans and ROI models Build productivity models for variable resources identifying key drivers of cost and levers Benchmark T&E across Industry to identify ‘best-in-class’ practices and setting organizational goals Set Departmental budgets for each leader and share pacing reports on a monthly basis Own the monthly reporting and forecasting process guiding teams on headwinds and tailwinds Single threaded leader advising Tubi Senior Leadership team (CFO, CEO and CPO) on headcount management, trends, and areas to monitor Cross functional thought partner across HR, FP&A and business teams Manage a dynamic and high performing team, providing mentor opportunities Your Background A minimum of 10 years experience in related finance fields focused on quantitative and qualitative financial analysis Extensive experience managing large departmental budgets preferably in a tech org High level of proficiency with spreadsheet-based tools, including but not restricted to excellent modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses with big data sets Exceptional written and oral communication skills required; with the ability to articulate clear, and concise narratives for a variety of audiences Sound understanding of related accounting guidance Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment; as well as work effectively autonomously BA or BS degree required; CPA or MBA preferred Compensation and Benefits Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
