Overview Join to apply for the Director of Sales - North America (Central US) role at Axelera AI. We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Edge AI space across the Central United States.
Position Overview As the Sales Director, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Central US, manage key customer relationships, and build strategic partnerships. Strong technical expertise in Edge AI, leadership, and communication skills are required. You will drive revenue growth and shape our Edge AI business in this region.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a region-specific sales strategy focused on growth and market penetration in the Central US Edge AI ecosystem.
Manage key accounts and customer success, understanding needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring satisfaction.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with regional partners.
Achieve revenue targets by managing pipeline, forecasting, and executing high-impact sales initiatives.
Leverage technical expertise in Edge AI and computer vision to communicate value to technical and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to ensure cohesive execution.
Travel within the Central US and occasionally broader North America for client engagements and demonstrations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
10+ years of experience in sales and/or business development with exposure to Edge AI and computer vision.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in fast-paced markets.
Technical fluency in Edge AI and computer vision with practical applications across relevant verticals.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English.
Willingness to travel across the Central US and North America for meetings and events.
Location and Compensation Location: Primarily candidates based in or near major Central US cities (Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, Atlanta). This is a remote position with regional travel.
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus variable bonus and significant stock options. Benefits include 401(k) and medical/dental/vision coverage.
