We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategy & Operations to lead critical business operations across our Advertising, Healthcare & Enterprise divisions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence, overseeing revenue operations, sales enablement, data analytics, and cross-functional coordination that drives business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Revenue Operations & Financial Management: Oversee monthly billing operations including manual invoicing for Lyft Ads; execute customer rebates and custom pricing billing for Lyft Business operations; enable the team to drive monthly book closing processes and quarterly close; coordinate revenue forecasting and pipeline management with Sales and Finance teams; support annual planning processes and indirect OpEx management.
Sales Operations & Enablement: Provide front-line sales support including deal desk operations, quote approvals, and custom deal structuring; lead sales enablement initiatives including training development, onboarding programs, and collateral management; coordinate the operational aspects of new product launches including IO terms, SFDC processing, and commission structures; manage sales compensation including attainment calculations, commission accruals, and quarterly true-ups; design and implement sales compensation strategies, incentive programs, and quota-setting processes.
Technology & Systems Management: Oversee Salesforce administration including lead-to-order processes and system integrations; manage integration projects and ongoing maintenance of multiple systems including OMS, Ad Server, Billing Platforms & ERP; lead automation and transformation projects for sales motion processing; coordinate with CEIT teams to convert business requirements into functional specifications.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership: Consolidate input from leadership to develop a weekly status report for the EVP & CEO; lead quarterly business reviews (QBR) planning and execution; coordinate Annual Planning tasks/deliverables across business units; orchestrate biweekly cross-functional meetings and strategic alignment sessions; support HCA and LE Sales teams with strategic initiatives and operational support.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background: 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or revenue operations roles; 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and initiatives; proven track record in high-growth technology companies, preferably in advertising or marketplace businesses; experience with complex billing, commission structures, and revenue recognition processes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce administration and customization; experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, MODE); familiarity with advertising technology stack and programmatic advertising; strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling and automation skills; forward thinking about AI, tooling, systems/process capable of aggressive innovation.
Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail; strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously; outstanding communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences; proven ability to translate business requirements into operational processes and system specifications; experience in driving fast-paced change in dynamic environments.
Leadership Qualities: Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution; collaborative leadership style with ability to influence without direct authority; change management expertise with track record of driving transformation initiatives; strong business acumen with understanding of P&L dynamics and financial planning.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree in a business-related field; experience in advertising technology, marketplace, or two-sided platform businesses; background in management consulting or strategic finance roles; experience with M&A integration or large-scale system implementations; familiarity with mobile advertising ecosystem and measurement methodologies.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Lyft considers working in the office at least 3 days per week to be an essential function of this hybrid role. Hybrid roles have flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco or New York area is $192,000 - $240,000. In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible for competitive equity awards, bonuses, and benefits. Total compensation is dependent on qualifications, experience, and location.
