Job Description
Position: Director, Private Markets Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple fund relationships, ensuring timely client deliverables
Set and manage client expectations and coordinate deliverables with staff
Demonstrate expertise in accounting, especially regarding private equity and alternative investment funds
Engage in new business discussions with prospects and existing clients
Develop and review goals and performance plans for direct reports
Conduct semiannual performance reviews
Guide staff on technical and client service matters
Review fund documents, transaction documentation, and supporting files for accuracy and compliance
Oversee calculations related to management fees, investor allocations, capital calls, and distributions
Create and review distribution waterfall models in accordance with fund terms
Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules
Develop review procedures for deliverables and manage the year-end audit process
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on alternative investments or private equity
At least 5 years of supervising professional staff
Proven leadership and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite
Team-oriented mindset
