About The Team As an engineering manager, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of talented software engineers that build features to support growth in our global marketplaces. This team closely collaborates with our marketing teams to develop and optimize the platform that helps Turo acquire and engage millions of guests. Identify areas to improve and scale architecture and application design. Ensure proper technical design and documentation. Develop tools and utilities to diagnose and fix problems. Collaborate extensively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver the next generation of product features. Lead complex technical projects and provide technical mentorship. Work with product managers to build a roadmap based upon key business metrics. Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members. Help engineers with their career growth by assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, personalities, work styles, and professional goals. Build plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges in the organization. Telecommuting is permitted. Your profile Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field. Special Skill Requirements Java; C#; .NET Core; Spring Boot; Oracle; SQL; MySQL; Tomcat; JBoss; Elastic Search; Selenium; and TestNG. Salary range in San Francisco, CA is $245,581 - $300,000 annually, plus equity and benefits. Compensation is determined by skills, experience, and education.
