Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to remotely support our enterprise networking and cloud solutions customer based in San Jose, CA. The Common Platform Services team is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to drive cross-functional and cloud backend engineering projects. As a Program Manager, you will work closely with our Engineering Program Managers, Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to shepherd through a variety of programs and projects. Responsibilities: Lead and complete large-scale, migration, and cloud projects Manage technical and strategic cross-functional projects Build and drive project plans with well-managed dependencies and internal stakeholder alignment Execute and supervise project deliverables, achievements, action items, technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans Work with engineering and program leaders to define priorities Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to best understand and deliver on business goals and priorities Prepare project status reports and executive briefings for various partner groups Plan, manage, and monitor a high level of project communications Adhere to metrics and governance for process and drive process improvements Requirements: Experience as a Technical Project Manager Ability to translate the needs of a team (technical or otherwise) into projects that drive action Ability to manage projects from beginning to end Successful track record of timely delivery of projects Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines Appetite for rapid changes and comfort with navigating through uncertain/ambiguous situations Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient Openness to new ideas and willingness to innovate Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment Ability to facilitate meetings and comfortably speak in front of groups Experience with multi-national program teams Ability to develop business relationships Strong Project Communication Management Basic working knowledge of agile principles and the ability to work proficiently in an agile software environment Demonstrated proficiency with building complex program plans with a focus on execution, gap analysis, and risk mitigation Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and identify and remediate priority and dependency concerns Preferred Qualifications: Agile Certifications or trained (Certified ScrumMaster, Six Sigma, or PMP for program manager) 5 years+ experience in SaaS Platform, Migration & cloud projects 4+ years of experience in Operational Efficiency programs Experience working with project planning tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
