Responsibilities Architecture Leadership: Design, govern, and oversee scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise-level solutions.
Stakeholder Liaison: Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
Standards & Compliance: Establish and enforce reference architectures, guidelines, and security standards.
Industry Focus: Apply deep knowledge of transportation/rail workflows (dispatch, scheduling, movement planning, asset management).
Innovation Enablement: Leverage cloud, hybrid, DevOps, CI/CD, and data-driven solutions to modernize operations.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data/Intelligence, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
7+ years in enterprise architecture.
Proven track record leading large-scale architecture initiatives in regulated industries.
Previous architecture leadership in enterprises with revenues of $500M+.
Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements with cross-functional teams.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and self-motivation.
Mandatory Skills Enterprise Architecture Leadership – proven success designing and governing enterprise-scale solutions.
Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, and hybrid stack experience.
API Expertise – design, governance, and integration.
Rail/Transportation Industry Knowledge – understanding of dispatch, scheduling, movement planning, asset management.
Large-Scale Enterprise Experience – prior architect role in enterprises with $500M+ revenues.
Security & Compliance – enforcing standards, guidelines, and regulatory alignment.
Communication & Stakeholder Management – ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Education & Experience – Bachelor’s in Computer Science/related field + 7+ years relevant experience.
Highly Desired Skills Data-Driven Solutions – architecture supporting analytics, intelligence, and operational insights.
DevOps & CI/CD – integration of automation, continuous delivery, and operational efficiency.
Multi-Engagement Management – handling multiple concurrent architecture programs.
Scalability & Performance – ensuring products are maintainable, performant, and future-proof.
Soft Skills – self-motivated, collaborative, and able to drive business transformation initiatives.
