Qualifications :
Active California CPA license required
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; Masters in Taxation preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Estate & Trust tax compliance and consulting
Strong technical expertise in Form 1041, 706, 709, and estate planning strategies
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff
Proficient in tax software platforms and comfortable navigating technology-driven solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients and professional advisors
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the preparation and review of complex fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returnsProvide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and family officesPartner with attorneys, financial advisors, and clients to structure tax-efficient estate plansSupervise, coach, and develop junior staff and senior associates within the tax teamServe as a technical resource for estate and trust matters, keeping the team informed on new legislation and tax law changesManage client engagements, including scheduling, budgeting, and billingContribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership, business development, and client relationship management Compensation & Benefits
