As a Tax Senior, you will experience this firsthand by preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching staff on your engagement teams. The opportunity You will be part of a growing global team, serving as a key contact for clients and colleagues. Your key responsibilities Your role involves supporting client engagements through reviewing staff work, coordinating with clients and team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics. You will also identify and resolve tax technical issues and suggest process improvements, handling a dynamic range of responsibilities. Skills and attributes for success Providing tailored domestic federal tax advice Staying updated on legislation and trends affecting planning activities Supervising teams and sharing leading-practice knowledge Building internal and external relationships to promote collaboration Preparing practical recommendations for complex tax issues To qualify for the role you must have A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law, with about three years of related experience. Progress toward or completion of CPA certification or licensed attorney status Experience in tax compliance, income tax accounting, and US income taxation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining tools Ability to prioritize multiple projects and confidently engage with client teams Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment Ideally, you’ll also have Experience in professional services Coaching and mentoring skills Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills Adaptability in working with internal and client teams What we look for Individuals eager to join a diverse, engaged team, with practical income tax experience and the ability to manage multiple projects.
