About the role We’re looking for a bold and entrepreneurial Founding iOS Engineer to lead the development of our "Plaud for Teams" product experience from the ground up. This is a high-impact role to shape the experience and systems of our AI-native products and agentic AI platforms, with a focus on privacy-minded collaboration among humans and human-with-agents, powered by large language models (LLMs). You’ll own delivering the iOS mobile solutions while partnering with global teams across product, design, research, hardware, and go-to-market functions. Together, you’ll transform ambitious ideas into delightful experiences for consumers and businesses alike. Who should apply You’re an experienced iOS engineer who thrives in fast-paced, zero-to-one environments. You’ve led small, focused teams and taken business products from concept to launch. You have a proven ability to build and ship with impact, combining deep technical expertise with strong leadership instincts to inspire others and align with broader company goals. What you will do Take full ownership of the technical strategy and execution of the "Plaud for Teams" product roadmap — driving development of the iOS app experience — while aligning customer needs with company priorities.

Lead the team’s mobile experience through its lifecycle, from prototyping to launch, with milestones guided by product-led growth (PLG) principles.

Design and build delightful, scalable, collaborative user experiences without compromising privacy, security, or trust.

Explore and apply AI and LLM advancements to strengthen the platform’s intelligence and adaptability.

Translate complex technical vision into clear direction for executives, teammates, and non-technical partners.

Help shape the team by recruiting, mentoring engineers, and fostering a hands-on culture of innovation, ownership, and execution.

Collaborate across time zones and functions — bridging U.S. and global teams to move quickly and stay aligned.

What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional iOS development experience with a track record of delivering features or modules independently.

Proficiency in Swift (Objective-C a plus), deep familiarity with iOS SDKs, system frameworks, and common design patterns.

Solid understanding of multithreading, networking, and memory management , with hands-on performance tuning and debugging experience.

Experience with unit testing, release management, and launching complex iOS applications at scale.

Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning, and a collaborative mindset suited to a startup environment.

Nice to have Familiarity with audio/video technologies (e.g., WebRTC, FFmpeg, CoreAudio).

Experience building productivity tools, collaboration software, or AI/LLM-integrated apps.

Cross-platform or mobile-first development experience (iOS, Android, Flutter).

Web frontend knowledge (Vue/React, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Canvas/WebGL/GLSL).

App security practices and performance monitoring experience.

Experience in early-stage, high-growth startups with end-to-end feature ownership.

Experience collaborating with international teams.
