About Snapp

We’re building the Superhuman Sports AI Teammate — transforming sports video and data into instant insights for coaches, scouts, and athletes.

Snapp is a Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM) using agentic system and multimodal encoding that processes visual, audio, and contextual information for human-like understanding of sports content. Our platform enables semantic search, content retrieval, and multi-video analysis across unlimited sports footage with persistent, searchable memory.

Snapp is venture-backed (including a16z) and led by a team of repeat founders, including the co-founders of Caviar and Luxe.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help turn AI prototypes into reliable, production-grade services. You’ll work across our backend and AI agent runtime, designing clean APIs, scalable data pipelines, and robust data models. This role requires a product engineering mindset to define API contracts that power both internal systems and consumer-facing products.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and contribute to backend services and agentic flows, including client-facing APIs and internal SDK contracts
• Set up and maintain agentic resource management strategies (tools, documents, media, etc.)
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Establish observability (traces, latency, cost, outcomes) and monitoring for all backend services and agentic flows
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong expertise in backend development (Python preferred)
• Proficiency with database systems, including document-oriented databases
• Proven track record building and deploying backend systems in live production environments
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) including monitoring and deployment
• Commitment to developing readable, maintainable, and scalable codebases

Experience or familiarity with:

• Agentic flows / AI provider integrations
• Vector databases, RAG, knowledge graphs, MCP server
• Video processing tools (e.g., ffmpeg)
• IaC frameworks (Pulumi, Terraform)
• Railway
• Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, React
• MongoDB
• Docker

Compensation & Location

• Salary: $180k - $220k
• Equity: 0.5% - 1.5%
• Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, life and vision
• Remote or Hybrid: SF Bay Area
