Senior Frontend-Leaning Full Stack Engineer The Opportunity We’re working with a cutting-edge Series A startup building the next generation of AI-powered video and avatar technologies. Backed by top-tier VCs (including Sequoia and YC alumni), they’re creating real-time, human-like digital experiences used across healthcare, education, sales, and more. They’re now looking for a Senior Frontend-Leaning Full Stack Engineer to take ownership of core product experiences and help shape the future of how users interact with intelligent video platforms. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to influence both product and technical direction from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing Leading the design and implementation of complex web UIs using React , TypeScript , and modern frontend frameworks Collaborating with backend engineers to design clean, scalable APIs and data flows Contributing across the stack: API integration, data modeling, and backend workflows (Node, Python, etc.) Working closely with product, design, and AI research teams to prototype and iterate on new features Shaping architecture, code quality, and best practices across the frontend ecosystem Driving projects such as: Revamping a developer-facing portal for real-time AI workflows Building internal tooling and dashboards for managing synthetic media assets Designing and deploying new interface patterns for avatar-driven applications What They're Looking For 5+ years of experience in frontend or full stack engineering roles Deep knowledge of React , JavaScript/TypeScript , and UI performance optimization Comfort working with backend services and APIs (REST, GraphQL, Node, Python) Experience launching and scaling production-grade consumer or enterprise applications Strong product sense with a passion for design, polish, and accessibility A self-starter who thrives in startup environments with high ownership and autonomy Bonus Points For Experience with video, media streaming, avatars, or AI/ML-integrated interfaces Knowledge of LLMs, prompt interfaces, or RAG pipelines Familiarity with WebGL , GraphQL , or serverless/cloud-native architectures What’s On Offer Fully remote, async-friendly working environment Highly competitive salary + meaningful equity Unlimited PTO and flexible work hours Stipends for gear, education, and wellness A chance to work at the intersection of AI , video , and human expression with a small, world-class team
