Join our team working on the Medical Assistance project. Help extend statewide FMR modules to allow Medicaid consumers to submit requests for travel reimbursements and manage these through the system. This role involves writing, testing, and documenting code to implement system features and enhancements under the guidance of the Technical Lead and Application Architect.
Must Have Skills:
8 years of experience with .NET Core and C# for backend services
8 years of experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core for web applications
8 years of experience with SQL Server / T-SQL and Azure SQL
8 years of experience with APIs and Integration, including RESTful APIs and microservices
8 years of experience with testing frameworks like XUnit/NUnit (preferably Jasmine and Karma)
8 years of experience with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework and Dapper
8 years of experience with containerization, preferably Docker
8 years of experience with cloud services in .NET such as Azure Function, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure container registry, and Key Vault
8 years of experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular (version 14 or greater), jQuery, and Bootstrap
8 years of experience with tools like Visual Studio (VS2022) and VS Code, Azure DevOps, and Git
Required Knowledge and Experience: Responsiveness and mobile-first development
Design Patterns and SOLID principles
Digital accessibility and disability inclusion
Regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)
WCAG 2.1 requirements
Designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
Applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices
Optimizing for accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android)
Developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards
Preferred Skills: 2 years of experience with AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL
Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process
Experience building digital products with accessibility compliance as part of the "definition of done"
