Overview FY26 US Seasonal Tax-Private Tax-Manager
Location: Anywhere in Country
Private Client Services (PCS) is a growing practice within EY, focusing on privately held companies and their owners and families, from family-owned businesses to private equity owned companies. This role offers exposure to technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects within a global, high-performing tax team. The position is remote with no travel required.
The Opportunity Youll join EY at a critical time, leveraging your tax expertise to support clients. You will receive hourly, eligible overtime pay and have opportunities to enhance or refine your skills within one of our high-performing tax teams.
Your Key Responsibilities Review complex individual tax returns and provide income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Handle partnership tax compliance and S Corp tax compliance for Private Tax clients.
Hours are discussed during the interview process; availability will be confirmed prior to onboarding.
Work remotely from within the United States with no travel required.
Skills And Attributes For Success Strategic ability to prioritize multi-project work.
Influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
Ability to produce technical writing and tax research.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns and knowledge of high-net-worth/individual tax returns or complex partnership compliance.
Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax; understanding of estate and wealth planning.
Experience researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies and translating data into client-ready insights.
Comfort with remote work in a virtual team environment.
To Qualify For The Role You Must Have Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant tax compliance experience for private client individuals, partnerships, and/or S Corps.
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Ideally, You\'ll Also Have Proven record of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid-tier firm.
