Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Global Head of Strategic Client Expansion & Growth . You will lead a global team focused on expanding relationships with Adyen’s strategic clients, unlocking new revenue streams, and managing high-stakes negotiations that create long-term value for both clients and Adyen.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic expansion initiatives: Develop and execute strategies to increase share-of-wallet with key enterprise clients and close high-value growth opportunities.
Manage and scale a global team: Lead over 10 professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, coaching, and providing strategic guidance.
Build senior client relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, creating collaboration forums and unlocking new value streams.
Define and align strategy: Collaborate with global stakeholders to align team strategy with broader business goals and shape go-to-market plans.
Drive revenue growth: Lead negotiations requiring cross-functional coordination, pricing strategy, and senior influence to accelerate mutual growth.
Improve operational effectiveness: Streamline deal cycles and share best practices globally to enhance team capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years in strategic commercial roles with enterprise client focus.
7+ years leading high-performing, global teams with proven revenue delivery.
Strong background in enterprise sales, partnerships, or account management, with experience closing complex deals.
Payments industry experience is essential.
Proven negotiation skills with high-stakes deal closure experience.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align priorities.
Decisive, strategic thinker with strong executional skills in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Environment
Based in San Francisco or New York.
Hybrid work model; in-person collaboration preferred.
International travel may be required.
Compensation
Base salary: $270,000 - $300,000 + RSUs.
