The CRO Pipeline and Operations team is responsible for driving a best-in-class go-to-market (GTM) model for Salesforce and providing company leadership with global, accurate, and thoughtful insights to inform GTM decisions that accelerate growth.
We are looking for an Analyst/Sr. Analyst to join the Global Pipeline team. This individual will focus on helping build/maintain global sales pipeline reporting and share key analytical insights with our stakeholders around the world. This high-visibility role will involve a mixture of measuring and monitoring sales pipeline performance, helping drive various strategic & operational projects end-to-end, and surfacing business highlights and challenges to accelerate Salesforce pipeline and ACV.
The focus of this work will be conducting analyses to diagnose the health of pipeline for sales leaders, regions, segments, and products to identify and address gaps or needs. The role requires intense analytical rigor, attention to detail, and an ability to extract strategic insights to improve the health of the business.
A successful candidate will be someone who can balance operational with strategic, is not afraid to dive into organizing tough and complex datasets, has relentless curiosity to ask tough questions and seek answers, can work independently and collaborate cross-functionally, has superior analytical skills, and can deliver insights under tight timelines.
Roles & responsibilities include: Support in owning the measurement and monitoring of the company’s pipeline health – define the right metrics to track, optimize analytics currently in place, build additional infrastructure and scalability to report on key metrics, and analyze the results to draw strategic insights
Deliver on global strategy initiatives by structuring complex problems, performing thorough analyses, developing compelling solutions, and presenting recommendations
Drive the annual pipe generation target setting model process
Partner closely with sales, marketing, programs, and product strategy teams, as well as other cross-functional teams, to develop best practices and analyses that identify actionable insights based on well-articulated needs/gaps
Minimum Requirements 2-4+ years of relevant experience
Desired skills/experience for a successful candidate: Relevant prior work experience, preferably in management consulting, finance, or strategy & operations roles at high-growth B2B technology companies
Self-starter attitude with ability to execute in ambiguous environments
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to stay detail-oriented while elevating the “big picture”
You love working with data: you’re an Excel wiz, and have prior experience using SQL or Python to query, structure, and analyze large datasets
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Collaborative mindset with a high propensity to partner cross-functionally
Excellent project management skills, owning & delivering projects end-to-end
