About the Role We believe AI Search Infrastructure is the category-defining foundation for the enterprise AI era. You.com enables companies to reason, decide, and act with accuracy, combining public and private RAG, model-agnostic APIs, and enterprise-grade AI agents. To establish you.com as the leader in enterprise AI search and agent infrastructure, we’re hiring a Head of Brand to craft and amplify our narrative in the market. This is a player-coach role: part storyteller, part operator, part evangelist. You will own you.com\'s brand architecture, positioning, and voice - and scale our presence across web, social, events, and press. You’ll partner directly with our CEO/founder, leveraging his platform as a thought leader, while also building you.com\'s brand into a trusted enterprise partner. Responsibilities Define and evolve you.com\'s brand narrative: AI Search Infrastructure + Enterprise RAG + Agents. Translate technical differentiation (accuracy, model agnosticism, security, API-first design) into compelling storytelling for execs and buyers. Own visual identity, website, and creative direction - making us look like the category leader we are. Build and execute a social strategy, amplifying our founder’s voice (earned media, LinkedIn/X presence, podcasts). Partner with Demand Gen to create campaign narratives, event branding, and content frameworks. Develop a customer storytelling engine: case studies, testimonials, social proof. Ensure brand consistency across sales decks, investor materials, and marketing assets. Experiment with scrappy and bold brand activations (billboards, stunts, grassroots campaigns) to punch above our weight. Requirements 10+ years in B2B brand, product marketing, or comms, with at least 5 in a leadership role. Experience shaping brand narratives in AI, enterprise SaaS, or developer-first companies. Strong storytelling ability - can simplify technical complexity into boardroom-ready messaging. Proven track record of building category narratives and running brand campaigns. Ability to partner with executives and act as a thought-partner to the CEO. Bonus: Experience with founder-led branding, media strategy, or scrappy creative campaigns.
