About Us Parabola is a workflow builder that makes it easy to organize and transform messy data from anywhere—even PDFs, emails, and spreadsheets—so that forward-thinking teams can automate the work they thought would always be manual. Teams at fast-moving companies like Brooklinen, On Running, and Flexport use Parabola to save hundreds of hours and finally take on the projects that used to feel out of reach. Parabola is backed by OpenView Partners, Matrix Partners, Thrive Capital and more. About The Role We’re looking for a Head of Community to lead Parabola’s community-led growth motion and build an ecosystem around the operators defining the next generation of work. This role isn’t about managing a forum or sending out the occasional newsletter. It’s about building a movement: spotlighting the people doing often-overlooked but mission-critical work and giving them the platform, resources, and support to succeed. You’ll oversee our growing SOP (Standard Operating People) community, design unforgettable digital and in-person experiences, and build scalable programs including our Experts program, Content Creators program, and more. You’ll shape how we connect with users, how we celebrate their work, and how we amplify the impact of what they build with Parabola. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role at the intersection of marketing, product, and customer success. Why join now? You’ll be joining a product operators team that already loves the product, values brand and community, and has momentum. We’ve built a strong foundation with over 400 active community members, early traction in our Experts and Creator programs, and a growing roster of customer champions. If you’re excited to shape what community-led growth looks like at Parabola and build a category-defining program from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you. Your Responsibilities Own and evolve Parabola’s global community-led growth strategy, including content, programs, and experiences that turn users into advocates and educators Set the long-term vision for how community supports brand awareness, product adoption, and customer success Define and track KPIs to measure community health, engagement, and impact on growth Act as the voice of the community, surfacing insights that influence product, design, support, and marketing Build and scale our Creator and Experts Programs, helping top users teach, publish, and grow their presence through Parabola Launch community-led campaigns, challenges, and playbooks that drive education, activation, and advocacy Cultivate a clear community identity and brand that reflects the creativity, resourcefulness, and grit of operators Host meaningful experiences, from intimate dinners and roundtables to workshops, panels, and community activations Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and revenue teams to align community priorities with GTM and roadmap efforts What We Think You’ll Need To Do It Have 5+ years of experience in community building, event marketing, or brand marketing, ideally in SaaS or consumer products Have built or scaled community programs that led to real business impact—not just good vibes Willing to travel up to 25% of the year for community events, meetups, and partner activations Understand operators, their workflows, their pain points, and what motivates them to learn and share Have experience creating and managing programs for creators, champions, or educators Know how to craft compelling narratives and design thoughtful experiences, both online and in person Are just as comfortable in a Slack thread as you are on stage or in a strategy doc Have strong taste and hold a high bar for everything you put into the world Are excited to join a hybrid team and work out of our SF or NYC office about 3 days a week Salary Range Salary Range: $180,000 - $215,000
