As a Health and Benefits Financial/Actuarial Director , you will serve as the financial lead for large, complex client assignments. Youll leverage your experience as a benefits financial/actuarial expert to make strategic recommendations on funding, plan design, and innovative financial solutions. You will apply your financial management and data analytics expertise to solve complex client problems and lead the development of new H&B intellectual capital. Communicates and delivers complex concepts and financial/actuarial/analytic results to effectively drive client action and improve plan performance Leads medium to large clients financial/actuarial engagements Develops and delivers the financial/actuarial strategy for a portfolio of medium and/or large clients Drives revenue growth through client sales of additional actuarial, financial, and risk solutions Provides consulting quality reviews and client delivery for all types of financial/actuarial deliverables Guides regional and global teams on deliverables based on client needs; reviews models and presentations for client delivery Builds internal relationships and collaborates effectively on cross-functional teams Qualifications 10+ years experience and success in delivering complex health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies in a consulting or brokerage environment Proven ability to generate revenue and manage client relationships Deep understanding of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts Proven ability to lead data analytics projects Interest in health and welfare plan strategy developments and intellectual capital development Judgment and experience to predict effective methods Multiple years of experience across various client segments Excellent written and oral communication skills with an executive presence Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining Actuarial designation and ongoing education (preferred) Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship is not offered for this role. Compensation and Benefits Salary range and benefits are included in accordance with state/local pay transparency laws. Salaries may vary based on location, experience, education, and performance. Compensation The salary range is $140,000 to $185,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
