Position Rothwell Figg is seeking an experienced associate to join our litigation practice in Washington DC. The associate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of intellectual property litigation matters concerning patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks, as well as post-grant proceedings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, opinions, counseling, and transactions. This role is ideal for a candidate seeking to advance their career within an exciting and fast-paced high-tech litigation group. Responsibilities Work on a wide variety of intellectual property litigation matters, including patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks. Involvement in post-grant proceedings at the USPTO, opinions, counseling, and transactions. Collaborate with team members and manage client matters with increasing levels of responsibility. Qualifications Two to five years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or copyright litigation. Undergraduate or advanced degree, or industry experience, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, or Physics. Outstanding legal research and analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic, team orientation, and willingness to take ownership of projects. Admission to the state bar in which practicing; admission to the D.C. Bar required. Registration to practice before the USPTO is preferred but not required. Details Based in Washington DC with a hybrid work schedule. Salary range: $235,000 to $310,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Rothwell Figg is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
