HR Coordinator (8912 - HR)**Hybrid Remote Position**

Overview EAH Housing is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to work at the EAH Housing Corporate Offices in San Rafael, CA. This hybrid remote position (3 days remote/2 days in-person) supports employment, benefits, employee relations, training and related areas. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 2+ years of HR administrative experience in recruitment, onboarding and employee relations. Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required. Must be detail oriented, able to multitask, and capable of handling high-volume recruiting and interview logistics. Customer service orientation is essential. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Salary range: $28.50 - $45.00 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $28.50 - $36.50 per hour, DOE. Responsibilities
Recruitment : Assist with recruitment efforts (posting on job boards, tracking posting expenses in HRIS, coordinating job fairs, references, background screens, fingerprinting). Assist with drafting job flyers, offer letters and employment documents. Follow up with Hiring Managers regarding open requisitions and diversity reporting. Assist with temp assignments. Track recruitment-related expenses and reconcile recruitment invoices for payment processing.
Onboarding : Assist with onboarding new employees, guide new hires and Hiring Managers through new hire paperwork and I-9 verification, follow up on orientation training maps, and answer questions after 30 days. Schedule new hire orientation.
May assist Learning Managers with coordinating and conducting employee training.
Update/streamline all job descriptions and maintain on HRIS.
Produce employee communications and help build/maintain department knowledge management.
Workers Comp : Ensure employees submit status reports after appointments and alert Safety Manager to modified work requirements. Notify HR Business Partner and Tristar about leaves of absence. Coordinate Temporary Alternative Work program to minimize lost time in coordination with HRBP and supervisors.
Employee Relations : May assist with investigations and document review. Maintain counseling logs. Update/review employee roster in SuccessFactors, assign team goals to new hires. Participate in events and programs to support morale.
Post-employment claims : Process unemployment claims, refer non-routine claims to HRBP/HR Director, log claims and results, and respond to discrepancies in quarterly charges.
Ensure proper storage/labeling of work documents.
Maintain current HR-related forms on OneDrive, department intranet and SharePoint.
Enter data into HRIS and produce reports as requested.
Assist with coding HR-related billing statements and invoices; route for approval and payment submission.
Coordinate with Community Relations for press releases on major promotions and new hires.
Assist with special projects and correspondence. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Participate in safety program. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field. 2+ years HR administrative experience. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with HRIS.
Criminal Background Check Requirements EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer.
