Job Description

Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, and federal / state employment law compliance
Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes
Handle depositions and witness interviews
Advise employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
Potential to engage in labor relations, such as labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations

Qualifications

4-7 years of substantive experience in employment litigation

Strong understanding of California employment law

Experience with legal research, drafting, and discovery management

Trial or arbitration experience preferred

Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws

Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills

Admission to the California Bar required
