Overview Lead Consultant Prof Services ATC role at AT&T. This position requires client location/office presence a minimum of 1 day per week and is located in the posted location. No relocation is offered. Key Roles and Responsibilities Follow established, repeatable methodologies, leverage templates, participate in or facilitate status meetings, report status, and attend required project meetings including lessons learned. Manage administration, reports and mandatory compliance training on time and as directed. Stay current with industry trends and participate in National Practice operations, process improvement and training calls. Take accountability for professional development and share knowledge with others. Collaborate with clients to provide consulting services and manage project activities from client identification through final invoicing. Work on billable consulting service projects and demonstrate broad product knowledge within a specific discipline. Lead technical delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping on projects where you are the sole technical resource or lead resource. Architect designs for data center and network solutions and create cohesive deliverables; lead engagements with teams of consultants or work as the sole resource when required. Mentor or coach teammates and introduce new methods, techniques and procedures. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in planning, design and implementation of complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team or within professional services or network integration environments. Experience planning, designing and integrating secure network technology. Strong leadership, documentation, and project management skills; ability to lead complex networking engagements in large environments; willing and able to travel. Proficiency in creating Visio diagrams and professional deliverables; ability to provide documentation samples on request. Strong ethics, reliability and collaborative teamwork style. Technical Skills Thorough understanding of internetworking technologies with IPv4/IPv6 experience. WAN/iWAN expertise including transport planning, design and deployment; experience with MPLS, Private Line, Hybrid WAN, Ethernet, Internet VPN, DWDM, and wireless. Network equipment and design knowledge for Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, Extreme Networks; firewall design and segmentation (Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet, etc.). Data center and DC core network planning, design and deployment; experience with SDN/DNS/DHCP/NAT, load balancing, and virtualization technologies. Experience with Cisco ACI SDN, network virtualization, VRF/Lite, L3VPNs/L2VPNs, and IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP). Experience with IPv4/IPv6 addressing, QoS, and routing, including NAT and DNS/DHCP considerations. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree Industry certifications such as CCIE, or proven equivalent with CCNA, CCNP or CISSP Very strong leadership, documentation and project management skills Ability to coordinate complex networking engagements for very large environments Location & Travel Location: San Francisco, California. Onsite presence required at least 1 day per week. No relocation offered. Compensation & Benefits Salary range and commission: Leaders earn between $120,200 and $201,800 plus potential $30,000 in commissions if sales goals are met.
