We are open to anyone sitting in Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones. What You'll Do We are hiring a Legal Counsel to join Sprinklr’s Commercial Legal team, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial. The Legal Counsel will have primary daily responsibility for supporting all aspects of Sprinklr’s commercial operations in the Americas region and the Western US. The Legal Counsel will work cross-functionally within the Legal team and across the business to develop a deep knowledge of Sprinklr and our platform and services. This position requires a team-focused mindset and a passion for formulating and executing long term strategies while managing details. It also requires strong communication skills, the ability to present positive, creative solutions, and advise management of risks to help the business achieve its goals. Responsibilities Manage, draft and negotiate all forms of company contracts with some of the world’s largest and most respected brands. This includes (but is not limited to) NDAs, SaaS Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, and Service Level Agreements
In collaboration with our data privacy team legal members, advise the Sprinklr business on data protection/privacy and related matters.
Interpret contractual terms and conditions and advise sales executives and management regarding contractual obligations.
Develop, implement and maintain standard templates, forms and processes.
Provide training to the sales and services teams that you support and across the wider Sprinklr business as required.
Advise different teams across the company on mitigating legal risks in the commercial context and will work closely with cross functional teams across the business.
Handle other project-based work within the scope of the legal department responsibilities on as-needed basis including assistance with changes to contracting and quote to cash process at Sprinklr.
Develop strong relationships with other members of the Sprinklr Legal team and business stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to internal clients.
Support in the growth and scaling of the Legal department.
Requirements J.D. from an ABA-Accredited U.S. law school, and membership in good standing to at least one state bar
3-5 years of experience as a corporate attorney providing legal advice and negotiating agreements in a software/technology/start-up environment, or at a law firm providing such services to clients in that environment.
Success working with sales teams in customer negotiations and contracting. Prior use of a contract lifecycle management software (e.g. Conga) is a plus
In-depth understanding of contract law and software contract requirements and strong skills in negotiating SaaS agreements.
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail, common sense and a sense of humor.
Strong written and oral communication skills to a variety of audiences, including the ability to clearly and concisely explain legal concepts to a business audience.
Ability to work with independence, manage competing priorities effectively, and meet deadlines.
Outcomes-oriented, creative, and collaborative, able to think outside the box to arrive at business solutions.
Comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and able to maintain calm and perspective under pressure.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
