Can be remote outside of Pleasanton. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled attorney with a strong background in employment law to provide expert legal counsel on complex employment matters across the globe. This role involves collaborating closely with the Employment Legal Team and advising various departments, particularly People & Purpose, on a wide range of employee-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to navigate both domestic and international employment laws while delivering practical solutions that align with business objectives. Responsibilities Counsel and provide guidance to People & Purpose regarding matters related to employee relations, employee performance, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodation requests, benefits, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, etc. Provide pragmatic advice to the business on domestic and international employment laws and matters. Draft and review various types of employment, severance, confidentiality, and other agreements. Manage administrative claims and litigation (e.g., discrimination, wage and hour, etc.). Conduct diligence and advise on mergers & acquisitions. Assist with employment-related projects, including review of internal procedures, new policies, and benefits. Skills Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations at both domestic and international levels. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in relevant jurisdictions. Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law or related fields.
