Responsibilities

• Fine-tune machine learning models, including hands-on techniques like SFT, DPO, and RLHF
• Manage the full machine learning lifecycle from data acquisition to productization using PyTorch and open-source transformers
• Develop backend pipelines and microservices in public cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes
• Collaborate on the optimization of ML models for production use with low latency and high throughput
• Contribute to open-source AI/ML projects and evaluate technology for build/buy decisions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the industry
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning and large language models
• Proficiency in Python for dataset and model processing
• Experience in software development for backend pipelines in public cloud environments
• Builder mentality with a track record of taking ideas to production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML/LLM in code generation, semantic extraction, or knowledge graphs
• Familiarity with big-data engines like Spark
• Background in compiler development for languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects like Hugging Face or PyTorch
• Expertise in retrieval systems or vector databases
