The Strategic Finance team is focused on solving some of Figma’s most pressing business issues. The team owns the company's budget, drives planning processes, allocates resources efficiently, performs financial analyses, and partners across the company. The role requires someone highly analytical and strategic, a great communicator, structured in problem-solving, and comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll gain visibility and focus on high-priority business issues, being involved in every facet of the business. This is a full-time role based in one of our US hubs (SF / NY) or remote in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: Lead ARR planning and forecasting for Figma’s Self-Serve business, including annual plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and weekly reviews. Partner with Product and Data Science teams to identify growth drivers, surface insights, and influence strategic decisions. Design and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and visibility into customer behavior and trends. Manage and mentor a high-performing team, providing strategic guidance and career development. Develop and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and CMO. Own and refine the financial narrative for Figma’s self-serve motion in executive and board materials. Scale the Self-Serve Finance function by identifying tools, metrics, and systems for better decision-making. Ideal candidate has: 8+ years in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or related fields. 2+ years leading high-performing teams. Proficiency in SQL and experience collaborating with Data Science teams. Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and data-driven insights. Ability to solve ambiguous problems and develop clear solutions. Experience building or scaling processes for efficiency. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams and seniority levels. Plus if you have: Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, especially with self-serve models.
